I've been sick lately, but thanks to Internet I know exactly what my assignment is. I had to play a bunch of games and figure out which is best and which is worst. Here is some info on the games I tested, all under different genres:
Action:
Temple in Crescent City
Zeitgeist
Adventure:
MedMyst
What Would You Do?
WV Animal Rescue Squad
Puzzle:
The Codex of Alchemical Engineering
A-Maze-Ing Math
Learn the Bones
Strategy:
Aiyiti: The Cost of Life
3rd World Farmer
Climate Challenge
Sports:
Gravitee
Nothing But Net
Bullseye
Racing:
The Race for Justice
Drift Runners
Of all the games, there was only one that had amazing graphics, a catchy name, and was actually educational was MedMyst. The graphics were amazing and it was divided into several different mini-games. This game is eye-catching because it is science fiction but teaches all about the fields of healthcare. This was my favorite game.
Now for the worst. All the games were educational in SOME sort of way, except for Zeitgeist. I think it has too much action and not enough education. The rest were not bad except for the WV Animal Rescue Squad. I think they used the same question over a few times, yet even though it taught about animal safety, I didn't like the graphics and encountered a few errors. But since Zeitgeist is eye-catching, I'd have to say the worst is the WV rescue squad. (I just hope my game doesn't turn out like that) There is a link to MedMyst above as well as the others, so try them out for yourself and see.
