Danger of a Single Story

1. What does it mean to have a 'single story' about a place or community? That you lean on a single opinion of a place.
2. Describe a single story you have heard told about your community. What is missing from that story? How could people learn more about that community? I have heard that Philippi schools have a lot of bad kids.  It doesn't say anything about the kids that are good.. They could take a trip there.
3. Describe a single story you have heard about another community. How did you learn that story? How could you find out more about that community? I heard that people in Logan county and Preston county are poor. My friend lives in Preston. I could go to his house again. 
4. How could a game let players experience many stories about a place or community? They could hear a story from both sides.

Getting used to the new year

     Well, before we start on our game, we have to do all this wiki and blog stuff. So, I will talk about our game.  We have it already planned out. It will be a carnival game. Sounds fun, huh?
     It will have many classic carnival games and will have the character learn about the science of how the rides work.  Then, they get to drag and drop to put the ride together, then they can ride it!!! It will be a lot of work but I am ready. PEACE OUT!!!
